I really can't remember how long it's been since we took a real family vacation.
We did it right this time!
We left Monday morning, August 6, 2007 and returned to San Diego Sunday night, August 12, 2007.
The idea behind the trip, besides taking some time off, was for Mayumi, Leyna and Noah to see more of California, specifically the Central Coast.
Since we spend so much time driving, that's one thing we wanted to avoid on this vacation, so we took Amtrak!
I'll do one post for each day of the trip to make it easy to follow...
